Star Trek is premiering in Sydney on April 7 with 1,600 people expected to come to the inconic Sydney Opera House to watch the movie, the Director of the film JJ Abrams is attending the premiere as well as Chris Pine (Kirk), Zachary Quinto (Spock), Eric Bana (Nero) and Karl Urban (Dr McCoy) adding to this coup for Sydney and Star Trek it is only the third movie to premiere at the Sydney Opera Housein it's over 30 year history.

 The movie premieres on April 7 in the United States and the UK
