Trek forums struggling for members PDF Print E-mail

With the Star Trek movie coming closer and closer to it's release date, one would think that Star Trek forums would be booming with the amount of news available but in reality it is not with several Sci-Fi forums with Star Trek leanings struggling to keep afloat.

This site, Trekhorizons.com and it's forum has only seven members and the news generates an average of six readers based on results of the last ten articles but this site is not the only Trek forum to be struggling with Deck One also facing problems of keeping members on it's board, Deck One last year was mentioned at Trekmovie.com for being the first group to ever obtain a copy of the Star Trek movie trailer before it's mainstream Internet release on Apple.com.

SciFiUnited.com is also struggling with posting members despite it being attached to the fairly successful Trekunited.com and it's network, the forum deals with all forms of Sci-Fi from movies to television shows but desperately needs members to post to fill in empty subforums or to keep threads that haven't seen recent post activity moving.

So fellow Trek fans visit these sites today and ensure that they live on deep into the future, they must be kept alive
